These plates can be used to cook pork chops, lamb chops or vegetables in a healthier way. The Plato Chuletero can be used on any heat source. Its thickness of more than 3 centimeters together with the refractive quality of the raw material make this piece a perfect dish to cook juicy meats and tasty vegetable.
The plates of Pereruela are unique due to the composition of clays found in the area and because they are made from two different types of clay. They are composed of a heavy, slow-drying red clay which gives the pieces its strength, and a white clay containing quartz, feldspar, and mica that can be seen with the naked eye and gives the pieces its refractive properties.
Recommendation exclusively for the first use (to cook): immerse it in water for 24 hours, let it dry and start using it over low eat to increase slowly.
